Student forums are used in the Elementary School to support students to solve student-based issues at school. This workshop will look at what student forums are, how they work and actual video footage of a student forum. Participants will hear about real examples of what students have worked on. They will see a video of an actual elementary school student forum at SIS and hear about actual examples of students solving student-based issues successfully.
Outcomes: Participants will understand how students can come up with solutions to their own school-based issues through a strategy of a 'student forum'.
