Schools are in an ongoing process of self-evaluation and improvement, and the majority of those improvement efforts ultimately impact students - hopefully for the better.  But how often do we involve students in the change management process?  When we do, how impactful are their contributions?

This session will explore practical strategies for giving students not just a voice, but genuinely meaningful roles in designing and implementing change. Student co-presenters will share their firsthand experiences with how this approach is used at Seoul International School, which has led to a greater sense of student ownership over improvement initiatives and investment in ensuring that changes are implemented successfully.

Outcome:
Introduction to principles / stages of change management, strategies for including students in these principles / stages, insight into the benefits from a student perspective
